Watched this film last night -- if you "got" Lair of the White Worm and thought it was funny, you'll love this movie. If you sat through it and thought "well, that was sort of lame and not very scary"...you won't get this one either.

But c'mon. Zombie sheep? Oh, see that alone had me giggling. Too hard for most Americans I think -- there're no obvious CUES that you're supposed to laugh. "Oh, my God!" "What" "The Feng Shui in this room is horrible."

But it's not actively played for a laugh (and the actress who utters it is B-movie caliber, at best, which is a shame). Why you could even miss the obligatory sheep sex joke, if you weren't paying attention. Although not the retribution scene, later.

Great movie? No. The acting is...not quite up there. A lot of missed opportunities for fun go by, it goes on too long and the gore is sometimes clearly a bunch of guys having way too much fun trying to gross each other out.

Worth watching? Oh, yeah. Get yourself in a New Zealand frame of mind -- sheep are everywhere and they're both proud and bloody tired of everyone thinking that sheep are all NZ's about -- and revel in monsters that are in daylight. On green rolling fields. That aren't CGI at all, but some pretty awesome puppets. And well, they're sheep. Sheep.

I thought this movie was Hysterical. Maybe next time I shouldn't drink so much before viewing though.

oh TPB is one of the best comedies of all time. We have the entire series and both movies. If you are a fan, the team that did that show is now doing jPod. jPod stars Alan Thicke, Sherry Miller and Colin Cunningham (best in show). It's got that same "just wrong" humor to it.

Black Sheep was fantastically horrible. I loved it. I've had people throw fruits and small animals at me for introducing them to this movie but I still think it's great.
