Those of you who live in the greater Olney, MD area, or know someone who does:

Please feel free to crosspost anywhere appropriate -- the greyhound adoption groups have been notified, but it's time to enlist anybody in the area, especially people with dogs, or who are likely to be out walking.

Lost Greyhound, Olney, MD area

Andy slipped out the door without his collar. He’s a large black greyhound
with a graying/white face, 90 pounds, 12 years old. He has an old tail
injury, as an additional identifier. He got out in the area of Olney Mill
Rd and Route 108 in Olney.

He’s shy, so please don’t chase him. Call in the sighting right away and
try to entice him with food/water.

I'm sending this to all my friends who work in Gaithersburg, MD that live or pass through that area...yikes, I bet he is so scared....

I forwarded to all my friends who passed through there via the ole' ICC :-) (MD-108). I use to travel that EVERY day and I know the area in which this dog was lost. Lots of wooded land and parks, etc... I would be scared that someone would mistake him for a deer...I'll keep my fingers crossed that he safely returned.

I cut it out and put my own, and went ahead and put it up to save time. Poor baby, needs finding before this weekend's snows start!

Not sure if you heard, but he has been found and returned! He apparently dropped a good bit of weight, but looked like he was going to be ok.
