This weather is freaking me out. I feel like a horse on a windy, full-moon night.

(Windy means they can't hear predators sneaking up and full-moon means it's easy for the predators to see them. Ride a horse on a windy, full-moon night? Just throw your body at high speed into a stationary object, like a tree or a wall and take away the suspense of when it's going to happen.)

It's dark out when I walk the dogs at 6am and I'm sweating. That's not right.

I have the air conditioner running and it's October. That's not right.

It's hot as hell and humid, but the light is coming at that autumnal angle. That's not right.

Everything's so dry, I feel as if it all may just burst into flames.

And most of all...it SMELLS wrong. This is my favorite time of year...the smell of leaves and earth and...instead it smells like unending August.

I'm so tense and depressed and unnerved I can't even be funny...

And that is SO wrong....

I have to agree with you. I moved North of Florida to get away from the abyssmal heat. So I make it here and the weather goes wacky on me. Either that or I brought Florida weather with me. I need to remember to use my powers for good and not evil.

I don't mind the warm weather so much... but the humidity can go back to whence it came.
Although, a nice cool weekend would be nice.
Maybe a little rain too... wet that ground down a touch
