Big Food Disappointment of the Week

So, it's rare that I treat myself to a candy bar...but having been pleasantly pleased by the Reese's Peanut Butter Bar that's sort of like a Kit Kat, with those lovely light wafery layers that delude you into thinking you're not being so damn decadent...

I thought I'd try their new Crispy-Crunchy Bar (note: that is probably not exactly the name, but close enough) because it's the time of the month when I say "oh, hell, yes, I deserve chocolate!"

WHO snuck a Butterfinger bar into the middle of my Reese's Peanut Butter Cup?

Bleccch, foul, foul. Bart Simpson be damned, Butterfingers are gross. The only thing worse is a MaryJane, but at least you look at THAT packaging and think "Well, that's probably not going to be good...but it's all I've got."

There should be some kind of disclaimer on the packaging that says "This is nothing but a vaguely peanut flavored Butterfinger, with some chopped peanuts that wandered in by mistake."

Blechh, I had to mainline a regular old-fashioned Reese's Peanut Butter Cut just to wipe the taste and "crunchedy" bits out of my mouth.

Oh... thank... God... Someone else who believes Butterfingers are just plain nasty. If Butterfingers are the only chocolate available at that certain time I will go without, that's how nasty they are.

Yeah I tried the Reese crunch before and I should have warned you. It is butt nasty. I'm a fan of most other Reese products and even find the Butterfinger alright. But yeah...that was the worst. For a real candy bar experience, try the Drifter.
