It's that time of year...
Sep. 11th, 2007 01:35 pmSo, at the risk of ruining my reputation as cool developer of props, I'm going to share my little secret. And thereby DESTROY your productivity at work.

Although, in truth, my rep should stay somewhat intact, because prop-making is like a recipe to me -- I start out with intentions of following the instructions and then decide I can do it better, cheaper, in less time, larger, smaller, with foam instead of papier mache, with...you get the drift.
But still, for inspiration and time-wasting...and just out and out coolness -- who knew you could re-wire a Billy Bass to be useful? (Well, maybe YOU can, my head shuts down as soon as I see the word "capacitor" but it's nice to know that SOMEONE is finding some use for this abominable un-funny object.)

Date: 2007-09-12 12:49 am (UTC)She's already "volunteered" 3 mixing bowls, 6 rolls of duct tape, 8 lbs of flour (mixed with water, it makes an excellent paper maché), the old turntable, all the dogs' leashes and I maxed out the credit card on chicken wire.

Date: 2007-09-14 05:07 am (UTC)We'll see what we get done out here; the only impetus to do anything would be for our enjoyment, because way the hell out here in West Virginia there aren't many to entertain but ourselves, the dogs, and the pottery.
