The last free Sunday...ever!

Well, not really, sooner or later, Maryland will end, and Scary Perry will be over and there will be one or two odd Sundays in November, December or January free...but that's a long time off.

We were going to be finishing the encampment at Maryland today, but with the sky randomly leaking, we decided that really, spending today home, getting all of the props cleaned, polished, re-painted, touched up...plus organizing our personal rig/garb, props, accoutrements would pay off better in the long run, since we'll be able to convince ourselves to head out to Crownsville one evening after work...but persuading yourself to do a bunch of little organizing chorse after a long day at work...not so much.

So, here *I* am, goofing off, when I'm supposed to be emptying a closet. Hey, I came across a pile of things that are too useful to throw out, but, frankly, I have no place else to put them. Well, I do -- they could go in the office. But in order to do THAT the office needs to be cleaned out. And in order for that to happen, the STBX needs to get the rest of his stuff out of there...and I need to re-arrange the whole damn room, since it's become the repository of things that don't belong anywhere else...and before I do that, I really need to give the litterboxes a good clean and wash. But right now I have throw rugs drying in the shower...because of course, it's sprinkling outside, which is why I'm home doing chores...

Thank you, darling -- it's in good shape; we had a good crew of grunts on Saturday and now all that's left is piratical decor and back room set-up. The Captain takes care of the first, I take care of the second, and frankly, for your own safety, you don't want to be in the way of two people who think they know exactly how everything needs to go....
