Anyone looking for a kitten? I don't have them (there's not a functioning feline gonad within range of me and my Tomahawk trap) but a friend's got a feral litter he's socialized.

A maile colleague said to me today "I really like your necklace." Which was an odd out of the blue thing for him to say. Except... I replied "Yeah, me too." And he blushed. Because I'm wearing pearls.

This is a really neat idea and I totally want to go back to my childhood home this summer and do this: http://dearphotograph.com/
But I'm trying to be realistic about the fact that getting all of my photographs into several boxes was a huge accomplishment. Sorting them, finding them, taking new ones, and then managing to post it....seriously, why add one more thing to the list of why I feel inadequate.

I've made it past noon. At 7:32am, I already had so many new "issues" that weren't on my list of things to do today, that I despaired of even GETTING to my list of things to do. And sat at my desk for a good 10 minutes contemplating how much I just wanted to go HOME, because it was just too overwhelming and hard. But I'm still here. Trying not to beat myself up for once again leaving the Bag of Things that Must Be Returned at home on the living room bench. FINE. I'll return them tomorrow. Maybe. Whatever. Not running errands at lunchtime, I may actually get to my things to do list within the next hour or two. Assuming I don't open up Outlook and keep myself in solitary confinement. I should have brought in the leftover chicken wire and barricaded myself in my veal pen.

those pictures are *AWESOME* and eerie and poignant. I would love to do one with/for my grandfather.
