The universe is plotting to turn my ass into a double-wide.

We got samples in today of various kinds of popcorn.

And I tasted the Smoked Cheddar Kettle Corn thinking pah, while I'm powerless in the face of popcorn, especially kettle corn (because that's sugar, fat AND salt) I really don't like "flavored" popcorn or chips. I find the dusty coating to be offputting and there's a "I'm a fake flavor coating" flavor that I really can't stand.

Plus, I'm not fond of smoked cheese.

But.

Damn.

I'm doomed. Do you hear that creaking? The sound of my butt expanding?

I'm not fond of the cheddar cheese flavoring on popcorn either. I prefer it on my cheese puffs. :D

flickering pictures on my monitor cannot hold as much sway as free tasty samples handed to me. so haHA! your plot to spread the popcorn craving is thwarted by the inability of flavor and odor to be transported via electrons!!

I'm not sure I understand your concern.....on their home page, they imply that their popcorn is part of a regimen that delivers flat abs in three minutes.

I actually bought a bag of this a few weeks ago to take to a cookout. When my friends laughed at it I felt compelled to disinter yet another of my deep dark Hoosier secrets: when I was a freshman in college, one of my dorm mates was the reigning Popcorn Queen of Valparaiso County. Whenever I come up with crap like this they think I'm doing a bad Jean Shepherd imitation. But I couldn't make stuff up that was half as weird as the things that really did happen.

My abs still aren't flat but maybe that's because I didn't eat the whole bag.

I think they had this at Costco. I only managed to get out of the store without a bag through sheer Zen willpower.

I doubt I could manage that feat again.
