Sorry, but I'm glad it's over...
Oct. 24th, 2006 03:41 pmI know, lots of folks are depressed that the Maryland Festival is over...and there I was counting down the hours...Hey, I had a blast. I met all sorts of new people. I'll be ready for it again...next year!
I'd worry about missing people, but when I look on my calendar, it's full of events that I'm going to see damn near everyone at. I'm looking forward to a Monday without laundry and massive dishwashing. (Or a Friday, if it's been one of those weeks) Not sweating whether I've got snacks, beverage, that thing I was supposed to remember to bring...not having to get up at 5:30am to take care of all the stuff I didn't get to on Friday night.
I'd say looking forward to having my weekends back...or not pulling on garb...but here comes Halloween, Carolina, Camelot Christmas, Wicked Winter, North Carolina....aaaaaaahhhhgggg, it's almost time for Virginia!
