And sometimes, the day turns around

So I started out the day getting halfway to work and realizing I'd forgotten my purse. And my little nearly out of gas light came on. Sigh. So, instead of getting to work early and getting a good head start, I had to drive home, get my purse, get gas and be late. Only to find that the meeting I had scheduled for 3pm on Friday had been changed to 8:30am on Friday. Which means the three reports I have to have finished for that meeting need to be finished TODAY. Today being one meeting after another. Awesome.

And just a few minutes ago I get called into my boss's office. And I trudged in, wondering what NEW project I had to get done in even less time.

But instead I got a promotion. So, I was WRONG. Awesome SANS scarcasm, my friends.
