If it offers you any comfort on the forgetting birthdays issue - I'm another one of those who has to make a Herculean effort just to remember the birthdays of my immediate blood family. Remember a friend's birthday (no matter how fabulous said friend is)? Pretty hit or miss... and it tends to only hit if I've been invited to an event by the birthday boy/girl in question. So... Umm... Happy birthday, whenever it is. I hope you get everything you want, or at least Percy without poo shoes for a few days.
